Overview

Provides organizational and office support to the Warehouse Manager and the Director of Retail. Maintains record filing, inventory reports, synchronizing of schedules and prints in-store signs and graphics. Assists in the warehouse with other job duties as necessary.

Responsibilities

  1. Answers main warehouse phone line, screens all incoming telephone calls and directs them to appropriate staff members.
  2. Performs general office duties, maintains spreadsheets and binders with daily sales reports, etc., as well as other pertinent reports.
  3. Assists in packing during moves to and from Glacier National Park offices Maintains department files, records & reports, including summary & analysis.
  4. Assists with warehouse inventory control.
  5. Receives and distributes company mail brought to administrative offices.
  6. Drafts and finalizes correspondence for Warehouse/Retail Manager.
  7. Maintains warehouse calendar and schedules of management & staff.
  8. Knowledge of basic dispatch skills for inter-park travel communication.
  9. Tracks & coordinates the dispatch of external staff of the warehouse & provides route updates for all management. 
  10. Attends and records minutes of warehouse staff meetings.
  11. Assists in creating graphics, signs, flyer, etc.
  12. Assists on special projects in other departments or performs other job duties as requested or necessary.
  13.  Adheres to all company policies and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Must be a proficient and accurate typist.
  • Must be competent in Microsoft Excel, Publisher and Word.
  • Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic and courteous in dealing with vendors and co-workers.
  • Must be able to handle internal customer & staff concerns in a professional and tactful manner, using discretion due to exposure to confidential matters.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be able to multitask on several different projects.
  • Previous POS experience and shipping/receiving knowledge require.

Work Environment

  1. Warehouse office environment in an historic National Park location.
  2. Job requires working some weekends and holidays during summer.
  3. Non-smoking environment.
