Directs warehouse activities for Company, ensuring the highest standards of service, cleanliness and adherence to Company policies and procedures.  Responsible for the opening, operating and closing of all warehouse functions in an accurate and cost effective manner.  



  • Orders products from Company-approved vendors.  Verifies prices and approves payment of invoices.
  •  Ensures proper receipt, storage and rotation of product.
  •  Ensures accurate and timely re-distribution of product to all Company outlets.
  •  Responsible for the maintenance of perpetual and stock control inventory and supervision of all accounting and computer functions.
  •  May supervise and coordinate warehouse workers’ activities in conjunction with Retail Director.
  •  May supervise and coordinate warehouse truck drivers and location deliveries, if applicable.
  •  Maintains all Company MSDS forms.
  •  Maintains warehouse facility in a neat, clean and orderly manner and in accordance with local health codes.
  • Responsible for coordination of the GPI recycling program product: picking up recycled products from locations, sorting and storage and for re-shipment to GPI recycling agents.
  • Assists in other departments or with other job duties as assigned by Manager.



  • Must have a high school diploma.
  • Minimum of 5 years previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of computers required.
  • Must have knowledge of inventory controls, labor costs and controls.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
  • Knowledge of basic warehouse equipment, i.e., pallet jacks, dollies, hand trucks required.
  • Knowledge of trucks and truck loading and routing required. 


Work Environment

  1. Warehouse office environment in an historic National Park location.
  2. Job requires working some weekends and holidays during summer.
  3. Non-smoking environment.
